OPERATIONS MANAGER

HEARTFIRE is seeking an outstanding Operations Manager with a passion for global evangelical Christian missions and inspiring and challenging the team behind it. This leader will be adept at enhancing organization & productivity while simultaneously maintaining an exceptional work place culture - one where the team can thrive in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day operations at HEARTFIRE headquarters (Scottsdale, AZ)

  • Command of all mission trip participant logistics - including all participant milestones (documentation, funding, meetings and task creation & reminders, etc)*

  • Mission Trip travel planning

  • Encourage and promote creativity & innovation

  • Identify areas needing enhanced productivity and create strategies and systems to improve outcomes

  • Instill an atmosphere of nurturing and growth among all staff and volunteers

  • Employ metrics and interpret data to track and enhance productivity

  • Inquiry response gatekeeping

  • Inventory management

  • Develop a workplace environment that prioritizes and fosters excellent communication

  • Professionally represent HEARTFIRE at community events

  • Demonstrate competency in human resource issues and be known for gentleness, fairness, and God-honoring decision-making

  • Have an interest in learning how to plan and participate in several HEARTFIRE international medical and humanitarian mission trips each year

  • Mail and fulfillment

  • Maintenance of the physical space - including design & decor, cleaning, and repairs

  • Command HEARTFIRE’s Volunteer force (“Fires”)

  • Command HEARTFIRE’s Prayer Force

Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) years of Operations or progressively responsible Administrative experience.

  • Highly organized and efficient.

  • Excels at both detail and big-picture work.

  • Self-Management: Takes initiative and acts with available information without waiting for direction. Accepts responsibility for gathering information, taking action, and results.

  • Gifted at creating/enhancing work-place culture.

  • Experience working as part of a collaborative team - including staff and board members.

  • Over-communicator demonstrating outstanding communication skills - both oral and written.

  • An intimate and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • A love of global and domestic Christian missions and the Great Commission.

  • Looking to do more for the Kingdom with their giftedness.

  • Commitment to HEARTFIRE’s vision, mission, and values statement.

Work Location (Hybrid): In-person (3-4 days/wk) + Remote (1-2 day/wk)
