Step into the unknown with HEARTFIRE’s high-impact internships, crafted for those who don’t just dream of changing the world—they’re ready to do it. This is a call to the bold, the fearless, the ones who know they’re meant for more — whether that’s missioning close to home or across the globe; in medical aid or humanitarian efforts.

You’ll be challenged in mission leadership, trip planning & logistics, reverse missions, discipleship, evangelism, Biblical research, missiology, and nonprofit leadership.

THREE INTERNSHIP OPTIONS:

  1. Gap-Year: Considering a gap-year? Invest your time for an eternal purpose. Become an integral part of the HEARTFIRE team as we run toward the Great Commission together. GYI’s can select from a 15, 18 or 21-hour week with HEARTFIRE to allow for outside employment if desired.

  2. College-Year: Currently enrolled at a university, but still want to get uncomfortable for the King? Join the HEARTFIRE team in-office for 10 hours each week. Step into a crucial role in our team meetings & missions brainstorming; all while planning and executing of all things HEARTFIRE.

  3. Marketing Intern: As HEARTFIRE’s marketing intern, you’ll work closely with our Marketing and Social Media Director to dream, plan, and execute campaigns that give God the glory He deserves through story-telling, digital media, and art.

Interns also have the option of achieving Certifications in one or more of the following areas:

  • Missiology

  • Biblical Research

  • Non-profit Leadership

  • Suturing

  • Surgical Instrumentation

  • Population Health

HEARTFIRE has reciprocal agreements with other incredible mission organizations, allowing our interns to short-term swap.

All Internships are non-compensated, yet Interns will receive…

(If desired, sufficient time is built into the schedule to allow interested interns to get a local job. We can often help with that!)
