Step into the unknown with HEARTFIRE’s high-impact internships, crafted for those who don’t just dream of changing the world—they’re ready to do it. This is a call to the bold, the fearless, the ones who know they’re meant for more — whether that’s missioning close to home or across the globe; in medical aid or humanitarian efforts.

You’ll be challenged in mission leadership, trip planning & logistics, reverse missions, discipleship, evangelism, Biblical research, missiology, and nonprofit leadership.

Gap-Year: Considering a gap-year? Invest your time for an eternal purpose. Become a part of the HEARTFIRE team as we run toward the Great Commission together. GYI’s can select from a 15, 18 or 21-hour week with HEARTFIRE to allow for outside employment if desired.

College-Year: Join the HEARTFIRE team in-office for 10 hours a week. Step into a crucial role for our team meetings, holy brainstorming, planning, and executing of all things HEARTFIRE.

Marketing Intern: As HEARTFIRE’s marketing intern, you’ll work closely with our Marketing Director to dream, plan, and execute campaigns to grow the vision and message of the Kingdom of God. Helpful skills include graphic design, social media prowess, and great written & verbal communication.

Successful candidates may select to intern during the following rhythms:

  • [AY] Academic Year : Sep - May

  • [CY] Calendar Year: Jan - Dec (summer months optional)

  • [FS] Fall Semester: Sep - Dec

  • [SS] Spring Semester: Jan - May

  • [S] Summer Semester: May - Jul

DETAILS:

  • All internships are located in-person at our headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona.

  • Interns have the option of achieving Certifications in the following areas:

    • Missiology

    • Biblical Research

    • Non-profit Leadership

    • Suturing

    • Surgical Instrumentation

    • Population Health

  • HEARTFIRE has reciprocal agreements with other amazing mission organizations, allowing our interns to short-term swap.

  • Interns receive invaluable training, discipleship, community, and several amazing mission perks (including scholarship awards toward HEARTFIRE mission travel).
