Jeffrey Dyer, MD | President

Dr. Dyer is an ENT surgeon with 25+ years of experience in medical missions. In 2017, he felt God calling him to step away from his private ENT practice and launch HEARTFIRE - a new type of medical mission organization designed to make the Last commandment of Jesus (“Therefore, GO, and make disciples of all nations…” Matt 28:19) the First priority. Alongside many wonderful volunteers and team members, he continues to empower, equip and accelerate mission-minded young adults, medical professionals, and other Christ followers to run into the Great Harvest. When he’s not working on HEARTFIRE projects, you’ll find him trail-running, reading, sampling his next donut, or his favorite: spending time with his extraordinary wife and two world-changing daughters.

Amy Marble | Director of Operations

Amy’s heart for mentorship and teaching the Gospel spills out of her, and she loves the way working at HEARTFIRE allows her to walk in both. She has over 25+ years of ministry experience, previously served as a missionary with her family in New Zealand for three years & never lost her zeal for missions. Together, she and her husband currently lead a local church and college ministry. Her favorite past-time is making memories with the “Marble 9”, her four kids, two daughter-in-laws and adorable grandson!

Sarah Salamon, RN | Medical Director

Sarah has served with HEARTFIRE since the beginning of 2022. After jumping on a trip to the Yucatán as a volunteer, she knew she wanted to serve with HEARTFIRE in a deeper capacity. Sarah has worked as an RN for 15+ years and has worked with various mission organizations throughout her career. She lives with her husband and 2 kids & loves to hike every chance she gets!

Emily Hogg | Director of Marketing

She works on all-things media-related at HEARTFIRE, in addition to leading teams and mentoring participants. She lives with her dog, Moses, in the Phoenix-area and will never turn down an iced latte.
